Granite Worktops - Top Quality, Best Price.
A lot of my past customers have been interested in granite worksurfaces but put off by the price. Now, dealing directly with the UK importer for several of the most popular ranges of granite, I am able to offer great prices and my usual high quality of workmanship and customer service.
In order to accurately template a new worktop it really is necessary to have the base units in place first. Once I have completed the hardboard template, and agreed with you, the new worksurfaces will be fitted within about one week.
Granite or Standard Laminate Worktops?
The decision boils down to one thing really, and that's money. Whilst a good granite counter will look stunning it also costs a fair bit. Not only are the basic slabs more expensive (about 4x more as a rule of thumb), the cutting and shaping is a lot more time intensive and requires expensive specialist kit. Every polished edge and rounded corner is going to add to the bill.
That said, get a quote from me and you should be pleasantly suprised at how much less I charge than other companies.
Granite Aftercare
Your new worksurface will give you many years of trouble free natural beauty. However do follow the following simple precautions -
- Whilst it doesn't look it, granite is porous
- Protective treatment should be re-applied a couple of times a year
- Wipe up any spills, particularly oil/acidic/alkaline immediately
- Do not place very hot pans directly onto surface
- We need to cut the surfaces with diamond based tools
- You still need to use a chopping board!!!
- Avoid dropping anything hard onto the surface
